Chris Partridge (born November 3, 1980) is an American football coach currently serving as the outside linebackers coach for the Seattle Seahawks of the NFL. He began his coaching career at Paramus Catholic High School in New Jersey, where he was head coach from 2010 to 2014. During his tenure, he transformed the program from a low-ranked team to the top-ranked high school football team in New Jersey and No. 4 nationally according to USA Today, mentoring over 30 Division I players including All-American Jabrill Peppers[1][2]. Partridge joined the University of Michigan football staff in 2015 as director of player personnel and later became an assistant coach. He was Michigan’s special teams coordinator for four seasons and coached both safeties and linebackers. His leadership contributed to Michigan’s defense ranking first or second nationally in pass defense during his tenure. He earned national recognition as a recruiter, being named National Recruiter of the Year by Scout in 2016 and by 247Sports in 2017, and was ranked among the top recruiters again in 2019[1][2][4][6]. In January 2020, Partridge was hired by Ole Miss as co-defensive coordinator under head coach Lane Kiffin. He helped improve the Rebels’ defense significantly, contributing to a record-tying 10-win season in 2021 and a strong showing in the 2022 NFL Draft with six players selected, including four defensive players. He was promoted to play caller while maintaining his co-defensive coordinator role in 2022[1][2][3]. Partridge’s career reflects a strong emphasis on defensive coaching, player development, and recruiting at both the high school and collegiate levels, now continuing at the professional level with the Seattle Seahawks.
